Not what we were expecting, as everyone thought that we were going to get the new RTX 3000 series GPUs. Although the specs for those were leaked, what was really releasing was the Ampere A100 Data Center card. the A100 will include 19.5 teraflops of FP32 performance, 6,912 CUDA cores, and 40GB of memory. Not only that but what you would be buying if you got an A100 actually consists of 8 GPUs combined!

2. AMD has spared us, at least for now
Budget PC builders around the world are rejoicing right now as AMD announced they would continue supporting the B400 series motherboards with Zen 3. This means that if you have a B450 motherboard, you will be able to use the newest AMD architecture. Plus, you'll be able to upgrade to Ryzen 4000 series CPUs. However, beyond Zen 3, AMD says they'll be dropping support for the B400 series motherboards, but considering how fast technology moves nowadays, this is understandable.
