Today, we are starting up a new series: Tech News. Every week, we will cover a lot of tech news, just in general about what is going on in the tech world. Let's get started!
I made this cool graphic for the series too!

1: Nvidia 3000 series GPU's specs released

Nvidia's new Ampere 7 nanometer architecture, which is rumored to be used in their 3000 series GPUs
Specs were leaked about Nvidia's new GPUs last week, and the card is rumored to be released at GTC, with the CEO of Nvidia saying "there will be a very exciting graphics card release at GTC." These specs show that the 3000 series GPUs will be much more powerful than the 2000 series, as they are using the new 7 nanometer technology. While you wait for GTC on May 15th, check out some of the leaks here.
2: AMD releases Ryzen 4000 series CPUs

A few days ago, AMD released it's Ryzen 4000 series CPUs to the public. There is the same amount of types as the Ryzen 3000 chips, 3 series budget processors, 5 series midrange processors, 7 series performance processors, and the 9 series extreme processors. These processors range from 4 cores 4 threads, to 8 cores 16 threads. These are more meant for laptops but are still compatible with socket AM4. They have low TDP and are very small and efficient. Check out AMD's website to see full specs here.
3: B550 Motherboard chipsets released

The B550 chipset, the successor to the B450 motherboard line, is the budget counterpart of the X570. The x470 was the predecessor to the x570, just as how the b450 was the predecessor to the b550. This motherboard brings PCIe 4.0 to the budget line of motherboards, something that has never been seen on the budget line of boards. This chipset not only makes it compatible with Ryzen 3000, or Zen 2 architecture but also Zen 3/Ryzen 4 and beyond. It is no longer compatible with ryzen 1000 processors. Check out AMD's page on the chipset here.
